How It Works
Financial advice should bring clarity — including how you pay for it.
Step 1: Retirement Transition Planning
Our work begins with a focused planning engagement designed to answer the most important question:
Are you truly ready to retire — and how does your wealth turn into reliable income?
Retirement is not a single decision. It’s a transition that involves coordinating income, taxes, investments, healthcare, and long-term spending.
This process brings all of those elements together into one clear, structured plan.
Planning Options
Because every situation is different, we offer two levels of planning based on what's at stake - not just what's complicated.
Standard Planning — $7,500
Designed for individuals or couples with straightforward financial lives who want a clear retirement strategy.
Typically includes:
- Investment portfolios across retirement and brokerage accounts
- Social Security decisions
- Withdrawal and income planning
- Portfolio structure and allocation
Premium Planning — $10,500
For business owners, franchise operators, and executives navigating a liquidity event or complex retirement transition.
What this covers:
- Converting business sale proceeds into a reliable, structured income plan
- Modeling sale price scenarios and their impact on your retirement security
- Tax-efficient strategies for a liquidity event
- Sequence of returns protection so a bad market year doesn't derail year one of retirement
- Coordination with your attorney, CPA, and transaction advisors throughout the sale process
- Ongoing scenario updates as the deal evolves
Most clients fall into this category due to the complexity of retirement decisions.
What the Planning Covers
The goal is to create a clear strategy for turning your wealth into a sustainable retirement lifestyle.
This includes:
- Retirement income design
- Tax-efficient withdrawal strategy
- Portfolio structure and risk management
- Social Security decisions
- Healthcare and Medicare considerations
- Long-term spending strategy
You leave with a coordinated plan designed to guide your decisions for years ahead.
Step 2: Ongoing Guidance (Optional)
Some clients implement the plan on their own.
Others choose ongoing support.
For those clients, we provide continued guidance and investment management as your plan evolves.
This includes:
- Portfolio management
- Ongoing income and withdrawal strategy
- Coordination with tax and legal professionals
- Adjustments as life and markets change
Investment Management Fees
Investment management is priced separately based on assets under management:
- $0–$3M: 1.00%
- Above $3M: Negotiable
Is This the Right Fit?
Our clients are typically:
- Within 10 years of retirement or recently retired
- Managing $1M+ in savings and investments or have significant wealth tied up in a business
- Looking for a coordinated strategy - not just investment management
